Need to connect to your thermostats from someplace other than your local PC? Our additional interfaces allow you to customize your XCI Thermostat Network specifically for your application when you need access from a remote location. The interfaces allow simple and quick connection to the network via telephone line modem or over an Ethernet Local Area Network! The XCI Command Center software works with all of the interfaces. There's nothing new to learn; just plug them in and you're connected!

The XC-LAN232 interface adapter allows quick and easy connection over any LAN or even over the Internet. The XC-LAN232 can be placed behind a firewall and given a custom IP address, allowing secure access to the system. Or, if the system requires access from a dial-up modem, the XC-MODEM connects directly to any of the network controllers, allowing simple telephone access to the system. In addition, if you need a share an existing telephone line (saves that extra monthly telephone line charge) or need a secured telephone access. the XC-COMSCAN telephone line share device is just what you need. XC-LAN232 Ethernet/Internet Adapter
(allows Ethernet or Internet connection to an XCI Network)

The XC-LAN232 is a complete Local Area Network adapterdesigned to work the entire family of XCI Network Controllers.  The XC-LAN232 includes all of the necessary intelligence to enable Plug-N-Play capability between any Ethernet LAN and any XCI Thermostat network.  The LAN232 allows simple integration with any XCI Network and a personal computer.  This powerful box is a great addition to any network. The unit ships complete with a power supply and a Ethernet LAN connection cable.  Also included is XCI's ComPort redirector software that allows the Com port on the host PC to be automatically redirected to the TCP/IP address selected for the XC-LAN232 adapter.  Installation and set-up takes only minutes to complete.  With the TCP/IP addressing, any XCI network can now be accessed over the Internet!

XC-MODEM
(allows remote telephone line access to an XCI Network)

The XC-MODEM allows remote telephone access to the XCI Network. The modem gets installed at the site, next to an XCI Network Controller. This is a great addition for the commercial marketplace. Having remote access allow all functions of the XCI Network to be adjusted, including updating schedules, changing setpoints, and monitoring specific locations within the system. Connection is easy, and all cables are included. Simply plug it in and dial it up!

XC-COMSCAN
(telephone line share and security device for use with the XC-MODEM)

The XC-COMSCAN allows you to take full advantege of an existing telephone line for use on an XCI system. The XC-COMSCAN is a state-of-the-art telephone line sharing device which eliminates the need for a dedicated telephone line for connection to XCI modems and networks. The XC-COMSCAN quickly directs incoming calls to one of two appropriate destinations, your regular telephone or the XCI system. The XC-COMSCAN has 10,000 user definable security codes for system protection.
